Planning Lesson 3

Task One

Read plot point four. Choose your showcase sentences and your vocabulary. 

Read plot point five and do the same. 

Read plot point six and do the same. 

 

Task Two

Write plot point 4 - if following my emotion chart the character is a -1. Tick the showcase sentence and vocabulary you have used. 

Write plot point 5 - if following my emotion chart the character is a -3. Tick the showcase sentence and vocabulary you have used. 

Write plot point 6 - if following my emotion chart the character is a -5. Tick the showcase sentence and vocabulary you have used. 

 

Task Three

Read your writing, check it makes sense, check your punctuation and spelling. Photograph your writing, your showcase sentence/vocabulary sheet and send them in to the email address. 

 

Remember: 

  • As the author you are retelling the story about someone else, so you are writing in the past tense. 
  • The purpose of our text is to entertain and our audience are people who like humorous stories. 
  • The lenses we wrote through - the lenses across the bottom of the planning sheet are a minimum - you can always add extra lenses if you would like to.
