Hope you are all OK. So, here we are on the final day of the school year! Watch today's video below.
I want to thank you for being the most amazing bunch of individuals. Our year may have been short but it has been one I will never forget! You have all been so resilient during a very different time. The smiles on your faces when you have been in school or have sent me photographs have really kept me going. I am incredibly proud of you all. Keep up the good work in Year 5, you will smash it I'm sure.
Mums and Dads,
The support you have shown the children and myself in keeping their learning going has been fabulous. As the mum of a school age child and a full time worker, I know how difficult it has been juggling the roles. You have all been incredible and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Your children are amazing and I feel privileged to have been their teacher.
Here is a poem that sums up how I feel today.
You are a very special child
and I want you to know
Although our year was cut short
I'm so proud of how you did grow.
I've loved being your teacher
And have missed your smiling face
But the memories we have of this year
Will never be erased.
Please come back to visit me
As through the years you go
Try hard to learn all that you can
There is so much to know!
What I tried to teach you
To last your whole life through
Is to know that you are special
just because you are YOU!
Always aim high guys, you are all capable of great things
