Home Work (for all children)
Below you will find the Home Learning for this week. These opportunities and activities will support your children to embed and extend the learning they are doing in school. You are also welcome to continue with the Phonics and Maths booklets included in your Home Learning packs. These do not need to be returned to school.
Home Learning challenge:
You also have access to the Phonics Play website, which is a fantastic way of practising those Phase 3 skills:

You should be continuing to read with your child daily, as well as sharing Bedtime Stories as these are so important. You still have access to the online reading books on the Home Learning.
In Maths, we will be exploring capacity. Explore this at home with jugs in the kitchen or in the bath. Explore the following language together: full, half full, empty, three quarters full, a quarter full, ml, measure. You could follow a recipe for a fruity drink or put on a tea party in your play. Below are some more ideas to extend your child's knowledge and awareness of capacity.
Across the Curriculum
Our learning this week focuses on butterfly life cycles. You might choose to extend this learning at home this week. You could make butterfly art, research caterpillars, go on a minibeast hunt or whatever else you choose!
