This week in Maths we are looking at capacity. Today we are comparing capacity to see if different containers hold more or less than 1 litre. To do this, you will need to find a container at home that holds 1 litre of liquid - you could use a squash bottle or a measuring jug. Now use this knowledge of what 1 litre looks like to compare it to the capacity of some some different containers. You could use the first worksheet below or find your own containers to compare it to (cup, bowl, bucket, bath, spoon). When you have completed this activity, there are some challenge cards to have a go at and a game on Espresso (you will need your log in to access this). You do not need to print any of the worksheets out, you can write the answers in your book or answer the questions verbally with a grown up.
