Today, I would like you to have a look at addition activities again, but this time you are working with money. 

 

Remember, it is very important to use place value and set your numbers out correctly under each other. Don't forget to 'pick up' your exchanges. 

 

You don't need to print any of the tasks as they can be written or drawn in your book or on paper.

Adding Money.

PLEASE NOTE: on the slides they have written the exchanges in red above the line, in our addition at school we write the exchanges underneath when we use the 'compact method'. This is the method I would like you to use.

Remember: even though the task involves money you are still adding 2-digit, 3-digit, 4-digit numbers etc. If you still find this a bit tricky you can go back to the video links previously uploaded for support. smiley
