To start today complete the arithmetic below. Don't worry that you do not have a sheet, just jot your answers down. The document contains the answers too, they are on the second page. 

In the lesson today you will find out that 10 mm (millimetres) is equivalent to 1 cm (centimetre) - you may already know this. You will use this knowledge to convert other multiples of 10 mm into centimetres and vice versa. You may be working with measurements that are a mix of millimetres (mm) and centimetres (cm).
