To start today complete the arithmetic below. Don't worry that you do not have a sheet, just jot your answers down. The document contains the answers too, they are on the second page. 

Today you will use your knowledge of the properties of shape to calculate the perimeter of simple 2-D shapes. You will explore different methods for calculating the perimeter of a shape. For example, you may use repeated addition or make connections to multiplication.
