Today in maths, you are going to be reading and writing numbers to 20. Firstly, print out the number cards from the document below- they do not need to be printed in colour. Put the numbers in one pile and the numbers as words in another pile. Spread out the numbers as words. Then get your child to choose a number from the pile and match it with the number written as words. Once all the cards have been matched up, it is good practice for your child to write out the numbers and words to help them remember the written form.

Once you are confident your child can identify numbers as words they can play the games below:

ATTENTION ALL PARENTS- it has been brought to my attention that the Ruth Miskin phonics has changed she is no longer doing live videos but will be recapping taught sounds.

If you follow this link the session will be uploaded and you can choose the sound and the spelling session you need. There should be a new video released today at the normal time of 10.30. Follow the link below:

There is going to be a video uploaded one sound per day (which is a recap of sounds taught) and this video will be available for 24 hours. Please bear with me as I also try to navigate this new way of the sound videos being uploaded.

There will also be a storytime every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 2pm. Follow the link below:
