Today you are going to be learning about capacity

 

Capacity= how much liquid is in a container.

Volume= the size of the container.

Since I know many of you are missing the Daily Mile and beating your best , I thought today would be a good day for the PE challenge.

 

Challenge 1-Jumpathon- Perform each of these jumps and record your distances using a tape measure: standing long jump, standing jump, backwards jump, hop step, standing triple jump and shape jump. There are tutorials on YouTube if you are unsure.

 

Challenge 2- Toilet paper saver- Tear off one sheet of toilet paper. Lay 2 objects down 2m apart. Stand next to one object and thrown the toilet paper piece in the air. Run to the second objects and back gain and attempt to catch the toilet paper before it touches the floor. What's your highest score?

 

Challenge 3- Pillow stretch- Hold a pillow in 2 hands. Lean forward so your weight in on your hands. Move the pillow 5 moves away from you.Pause for 5 seconds between each move. Try to keep the weight over your shoulders.Try and stretch yourself .Can you make it out and back again?

 

Challenge 4- High jump- Collect all the pillows or cushions from your house. A successful set is when you jump 3 times in a row over the cushions. How many cushions can you jump over?
