Hello Year 1,
You have found your work for Monday.
You will have tasks for English, Phonics, Maths and one other topic.
Links will be provided if needed for the tasks.
As part of our learning we have been looking at multiplication. We are now going to look at the opposite- division.
Division is sharing amounts or objects equally. There has to be the same amount in each group.
For the video you will need your espresso login and password.
Phonics sessions are available from Ruth Miskin on Facebook and on YouTube.
Your child needs set 3 which is on at 10.30am and 1.30pm.
As part of your english learning we will be reading the book ' The day Louis got eaten' by John Fardell.
Your first task is to read the book on the video until the part where Sarah is about the climb into the gulpers mouth (0.59 on the time bar) but don't read any further.
Sarah got something out of the bushes that would help her. What do you think Sarah found that would help her? Write a prediction for what you think she finds. Don't forget to start you sentence with 'I predict'.
After all that work you need to move and stretch and keep your body active.
