This week, all of our reading lessons are based on poems.
Start by skimming through today’s poem and identifying and tricky words. If you are not sure what these words mean, look them up before you go any further.
Then, read the poem through in your head.
(If you find reading a little tricky, ask someone at home to read it to you a few times before you try reading it yourself.)
Once you have done this, now read it aloud. Can someone at home listen to you read it? If not, read to a pet or soft toy. If you want to, you can record yourself reading the poem.
After you have read it through fluently and confidently a few times, try answering the questions.
Send your work to us as part of your daily email.
