Week Six 12.7.21 The Little Red Hen
The Little Red Hen
And just like that, the final week is upon already, even if it does not look quite like we had planned! What an amazing final half term we have had to our Reception Year. Every grown-up in Reception is unendingly proud of every child in our class and we have been totally amazed by what you have all achieved this year. We wish you every success as you head into Year One and know that you will achieve the most amazing things as you continue to learn and grow.
For this final week, we have chosen the 'Little Red Hen' as our focus book. It reminds us about the value of team work and of showing kindness and that we should all treat others as we would like to be treated. Below is a version of the story that you can share together and lots of activities you could do at home to enhance your understanding of this story. Please do not put pressure on yourself with this learning. It is the final week of term and if we were in school, we would be engaging with short bursts or adult-led learning with lots of Choosing Time in between to enjoy with our friends. Whatever you do will be great. Don't forget to pop it on Tapestry!
