Remember, you can earn special mentions and certificates in Star of the Week assembly for the most amount of points collected on Mathletics. See if you can get a mention or certificate this week!

PSHE

In PSHE, we are learning about money. We are looking at recognising the value of coins and notes, which coins might be needed to buy an item costing a given amount and how to look after money by keeping it in a wallet or purse, saving it in a piggy bank or paying it into a high street bank.

You could make rubbings of different coins. Can you order the coins from the smallest value to the largest value.

Do you earn pocket money? If possible, you could do some real life money investigation. What could you buy at the shop for less than £1. What would happen if you paid for that item using a £1 coin?
