We take children from the age of 3 in our Nursery class

Primary, First, Junior and Middle School applications for September 2025

Applications open 1st September 2024.

The deadline for applications is 15th January 2025. You can apply https://emsi.worcestershire.gov.uk/CitizenPortal_LIVE/en

The importance of making an application on time cannot be stressed enough. This year more than any other has highlighted to us the huge impact that making a late application can have. Reception places

We admit children to Reception each September. Worcester County Council oversees all admissions to Reception and if you would like your child to have a place you will need to make an application online directly to county. (We do not control any school admissions other than those to our Nursery).

If you are interested in a place we recommend that you visit us. To do this please phone the school office on 01562 850397 and arrange an appointment.  

In-year entrants

If your child is currently at another school and you are interested in him/her coming to Cookley, in the first instance please phone our school office to see if we have a place in that year group for an appointment to visit us. We will then be able to talk to you about your needs and discuss the admissions process from then on.

September 2025 Admissions Timetable

Nursery places

Parents apply directly to school for a nursery place for their child.  Spaces in our Nursery are limited but we can usually guarantee a space from the September before they start school.  However, you need to note that having a child in our nursery does not give you automatic entry to our Reception class - parents still have to apply for a Reception place.

Hours can be taken across the week between the hours of 8:45 and 3:15pm. Our wraparound care is available from 7:30am for Breakfast Club and until 5:30pm for After School Club.  Please visit https://www.childcarechoices.gov.uk to find out if you are eligible.
