Homework for this week is focused on D&T: Healthy Eating

Here are some fun tasks for you to complete over this week - Choose one/two.

🥗 1. Healthy Food Diary (1 Week Challenge)

Task: Keep a colourful food diary for a week. Each day, draw (or cut and stick pictures of) what you eat for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks.
Extras: Add smiley or sad faces to show if it was a healthy choice.

🍓 2. Design a Healthy Lunchbox

Task: Draw and label your dream healthy lunchbox. It should include a mix of the five food groups.
Twist: Give it a superhero name like "Captain Crunchless" or "The Veggie Box".

🍽️ 3. Create a Plate

Task: Use a paper plate (or draw a plate) and divide it into sections. Fill each part with cut out food pictures from magazines or hand drawn items to show a balanced meal.

🎭 4. Healthy Eating Puppet Show

Task: Make a simple puppet (using a sock, paper bag or spoon) that teaches others about healthy eating. Write a short speech or story it could tell.
Optional: Perform it in class!

📦 5. Food Group Treasure Hunt

Task: Look in your fridge/kitchen and list or draw 2–3 foods that belong to each of the food groups (fruit & veg, protein, dairy, etc.).
Challenge: Can you find one from each group in a rainbow of colours?

📊 6. Healthy Eating Poster

Task: Make a bright, bold poster to encourage other children to eat healthily. Include top tips, colourful food drawings or a catchy slogan like “Fruit is Fun!”
