Art:
For this week's homework, the students are focusing on experimenting with different paint colours to create vibrant and dynamic backgrounds. Once their backgrounds are complete, they will be adding silhouettes on top to further enhance their artwork.
We are currently working on African sunset backgrounds, but for this homework, I encourage you to explore a new theme. Some alternative ideas for the background include:
- Underwater Scenes: Experimenting with different shades of blue and green to create an underwater effect.
- City Skylines: Using gradients of colours for the sky and adding silhouettes of buildings or people.
- Forest at Dusk: Blending dark blues, purples, and greens to evoke the feeling of twilight in the woods.
- Mountain Ranges: Using warm and cool tones to create mountains and a peaceful, natural setting.
- Dreamy Night Sky: Experimenting with dark tones and highlights to capture the essence of a starry night.
- Tropical Beach: Using bright colours to create a beach scene, with silhouettes of palm trees or beachgoers.
Please encourage your child to experiment with different colour combinations and think creatively about the silhouettes they wish to add. This is a chance for them to explore their artistic expression and have fun with the process.
