Computers are an important part of everyday life. For most of people, technology is essential to our lives, at home and at work. The national curriculum for computing aims to equip young people with computing skills, knowledge and understanding.
Here at Cookley, we follow Kapow Primary scheme for Early Years to Year Six. Children are provided a variety of opportunities to learn and apply new skills and knowledge in a range of interesting activities. Kapow Primary provides the Computing curriculum that is categorised into three areas:
- Digital Literacy and Online Safety
- Computational Thinking
- Computers and Hardware
