History: We have started our local history lessons about Kidderminster and its famous carpet industry. In the 1960s, there were 25 factories that employed 15,000 local people. For homework, we would like you to ask your family if they have any connections or memories of Kidderminster's carpet industry. What do they remember? Did anyone they know work in a carpet factory?
