w.c. 22.04.24
To celebrate World Earth Day on 22nd April, the children will be completing a range of activities around plastic pollution and the effect on the world’s land and oceans. There is a whole-school competition to design a poster with your pledge to live more sustainably. For example, this could be turning the lights and appliances off when they are not needed at home, litter picking, reducing food waste or recycling your packaging. There will be a prize for the two most convincing pledges and entries will be judged by the eco-committee. Templates will be sent home. Entries are due in by Friday 26th April at 3pm! Good luck!

For homework, please could you find out 5 facts about her and collect these as a poster/ fact sheet. Add lots of pictures too!
*If you have any fossils you would like to bring in, please also feel free to do that on the w.c. 29.04!
