School uniform

We believe in the smart appearance of our pupils and all of the children wear our school colours. This helps them to develop a pride in their appearance and a sense of belonging to the school. For example extreme hair styles are not acceptable. We would like all children to adhere to the following items of clothing:

RECEPTION TO YEAR 2 

White shirt/blouse or white polo shirt

Purple v-necked sweatshirt/jumper* or cardigan*

Grey trousers/skirt or shorts

White/grey socks or grey tights (girls)

Black shoes

School tie** (optional)

Summer Uniform -  A lilac and white gingham dress may be worn April to October

YEAR 3 TO YEAR 6

White shirt/blouse with school tie** (white polo shirt may be worn in the Summer term, a tie does not have to be worn in the summer if a polo shirt is worn)

Please name every item of clothing, preferably with woven name tags. If you do not know where to purchase these please contact school. All children wear the same, so items can easily be lost.

Jewellery -  Children are not allowed to wear any jewellery for school except pierced earring studs and watches. These must be removed for all physical education, games and Forest School. Staff are not responsible for the removal of earrings or the safe keeping of any item. If you wish your child to have their ears pierced may we suggest the beginning of the Summer holidays as a good time.

Nails - should be short and unpolished.

PE KIT 

Indoor - Black shorts, house colour t-shirt* or plain white t-shirt and pumps/trainers in a named bag.

Outdoor – Black jogging bottoms, black training top/hoody, sports socks, showerproof jacket also advisable.

*House Colour Hoodies with school logo are available to purchase for the colder months, but are not mandatory.

(Summer uniform can be worn after Easter up until October half term)

**Ties available to purchase via the Gateway

All items with a logo are not compulsory.  Parents can purchase uniform from any provider.  Other suppliers, such as M & S, Matalan and Sainsbury's, now stock purple jumpers and lilac summer dresses.

We also have a second hand uniform shop.  This opens once every half term.
