• PTA - Almost £1000 raised in the Spring Term - THANK YOU

  Thank you to our fantastic PTA for the fabulous events they have organised this term.  They have raised a magnificent £994.88 from the disco, tuck shop and gold ticket chocolate raffle.  All money raised will be spent on the children of Cookley School.  Thank you all for supporting the events so generously.

  

• Mrs Giles

  Tomorrow will be Mrs Giles' last day at Cookley School.  Mrs Giles has been a valued member of staff for a number of years and we will miss her greatly.  I would like to thank Mrs Giles for all her hard work and dedication to the children of Cookley.  We wish her all the best for the future and good luck in her new post.

• After school clubs and enrichment Summer Term

  In the first half of the Summer Term, we will be offering the following clubs for KS2.  Monday - Forest School  Wednesday - Gardening & Football  Friday - Dance. (all chargeable)

   

  Reception and KS1 will be offered access to four free of charge 'enrichment clubs'.  We will be sending the details out later this week.

   

  In the second half term, this will switch.  So Reception and KS1 can access Monday - Forest School  Wednesday - Gardening & Football  Friday - Dance.  KS2 will have enrichment.

• Family learning - New course for the Summer

• Parents' Evening

  Parents’ evening – You will receive an email this evening inviting you to book an appointment to meet with your child’s classteacher. If you have recently met with your child’s teacher (SEND) a further appointment is not required.

• World Book Day Digital token

  Below is a link to your digital World Book Day token.  If you visit our book fair this week you will be able to claim £1 off any book over £2.99.  Digital Tokens - World Book Day

  The token can also be exchanged for the special World Book Day books available at all major retailers (whilst stocks last).
