• A very busy end to the term - Here is what is going on...

  Monday 1st April - NSPCC Assemblies and Launch of charity fundraiser.

   

  Wednesday 10th April - Early Years Easter Egg Maths Hunt (9-10am),

  Miss Kearton-Jones' last day

  Year 3/4 Performance - afternoon (1:45pm) and evening (18:15pm).

   

  Thursday 11th April - Year 4 out at Wolverley - outdoor activity day.

  Year 5 and 6 workshop from NSPCC.

  Parents online awareness workshop (2:30-3:15).

   

  Friday 12th April - Easter Bonnet Parade at 9:15am.

  Easter Bonanza with NSPCC Colour Run/Walk sponsored event at 2pm.

• Mrs Oliver and Miss Kearton-Jones announce their retirements

  At Easter we bid a fond farewell to two of our teaching assistants. 

   

  Mrs Oliver is retiring after 22 years at Cookley School to spend more time with her family after recently becoming a Grandma - we wish her all the best in her retirement.

   

  Miss KJ is also retiring at Easter and we all would like to take this opportunity to send her our best wishes for the future.

   

  

• Reception Class Tesco Express Visit

  Wed 27 Mar 2019

  On Friday 29th March we will be visiting our local Tesco Express to learn more about 3D shapes and also for each child to purchase a chocolate paw! This visit will conclude a week's learning about money and also enable each child to purchase an item (handing over cash and receiving their own receipt). We are grateful to Tesco for donating the chocolate paws and the school will finance any additional costs. Therefore, children will NOT need money from home. If you would like to join us please let the staff know in advance so children can be grouped accordingly. You will then need to meet at the school office at 1:30 on Friday.

• Netball Success!

  Our netball team are half way through the league competition, held each Monday evening at Stourport Netball Dome.  They look fabulous in their new kit and they are playing brilliantly as a team.  Good luck for the final two weeks of competition girls.

  Thank you to Miss Spooner, Miss Yeomans and Mr Day for taking them.

  Well done Olivia, Ruby, Electra, Nell, Tilly, Heidi, Erin, Colbie and Molly.
