  • World Book Day 2019

    Thu 07 Mar 2019

Everyone looked amazing in their World Book Day costumes today and it has been lovely to hear everyone talking about their favourite books! We welcomed Leah Crichton, real life author, into our assembly today and she told us the story of ‘Gerald, the very fat fox’. It was brilliant and we were all really excited to join in with the story. A big thank you to Leah for visiting us!

  • Polite Notice - Nuala Campbell's Funeral - 5.03.19

    Mon 04 Mar 2019

As many of you are probably aware, Nuala from the Eagle passed away last week. Her funeral has been arranged for Tuesday 5th March from 2pm in St Peter’s Church and her family have asked if parents can kindly avoid parking in Lea Lane or on the Eagle car park when collecting children from school on this day. It is expected that there will be a large turnout for her funeral as she was a well-loved member of our village community and we have been told to expect heavy traffic in the village. It is recommended that if you have to drive to collect your child, then the Cookley Club car park will be your best option.
