  • A message from Wolverley Secondary School for Year 6 parents

    Mon 07 Sep 2020

‘Our open events will look a little different this year due to the current government restrictions on gatherings/events.  Our open events will take place during week commencing 21st September 2020.

We have a team that are currently considering the best option to move forward as we understand how important it is for you and your son/daughter to be able to see the school and meet some of the key people before making the decision on their secondary school.  It is anticipated that we will still have open events but they are likely to run over more evenings to ensure the number of visitors we usually receive to a single evening can be spread safely over multiple evenings. ‘

  • Pick up time changes from Thursday 3rd

    Wed 02 Sep 2020
The staggered start times worked well this morning.  The drop off slots seemed smooth and we managed to avoid any crowding.

However, this evening was very busy so we are going to make some immediate changes to pick up times. Dismissing children from the doors takes much longer than we have allowed for.  Therefore, from tomorrow the pick-up times will be as follows

If the area outside your child's classroom is busy, please keep 2m distance from other parents whilst you wait.  Please try and stick to your allocated time as the teachers will prepare the children for departure in alphabetical order.
Also, could we ask that just one parent does the drop off/pick up to help reduce the amount of people on site at any one time.  Many thanks for your understanding
  • Welcome back...

    Wed 02 Sep 2020
It was brilliant to see everyone back at school today.  The children (and the parents) all seemed very happy to be back! It really is good to be back to some sort of normality.
