• End of term update

  Yesterday, the DfE announced that schools could use the 18th December as an INSET day.  Cookley School IS NOT planning on doing this because:

  · INSET is valuable training time that takes time to plan properly

  · The late notice places unnecessary pressure on working parents to arrange childcare

  · Closing one day early has little impact on the isolation periods 

  More information will follow on this week's newsletter that will be published tomorrow (10th).
