• World Book Day

  We will be celebrating World Book Day on Thursday 5th March. Please do not go to any expense buying costumes. The World Book Day website has a huge range of inexpensive ideas.

  

• Hot AIr Balloon Visit

  Yesterday, we were lucky enough to receive a visit from Hot Air Ballooning Champion David Bareford.  David inflated the balloon on the field and we watched as it lifted off the ground.  Thank you so much to Mr and Mrs Bareford and their team of helpers who came to share their magnificent balloon with us.

• Young Gloves Karate

• Two minute Twist

  Paul Willmott, who is a regular visitor here at Cookley School, has a new TV show called "2 Minute Twist”.  In this show Twist has questions about God and Faith and then asks, “What do you think?”  The show can been seen on Christian Channel TBN UK. Watch it on Freeview 65, Sky 582 or online vod.tbnuk.org.  Wednesdays from January 1st at 4.50pm, then repeated on Saturday morning 9.50am.  

   

  

• Tackling Tables

  ​​​​​Tackling tables - a unique and exciting times tables card game and app to help students learn multiplication and division facts "off by heart".

  Log-ins have now been sent home with your child to access your tackling tables accounts. There is a direct link to the website under the maths tab on the school website.

  You can access this through Key Information > Curriculum > Maths > Tackling Tables.
