  • Sports Day success

    Fri 21 Jun 2019
Parents - Many thanks for coming along to Sports Day today.  It was a really successful day.  Miss Yeomans did a brilliant job organising the event (and we even stuck to time!) - thank you.  Also, a big thank you to Tesco Express for donating a bottle of water for each child.
  • Sports Day 21.6.19

    Thu 20 Jun 2019

The forecast is looking promising for tomorrow's Sports Day.

KS1 and Foundation Stage events will take place in the morning.  The children will participate in a mixture of traditional track events and some field activities. (9.30-11.30)

Parents are invited to join their children for a picnic lunch if they so wish - please make your way to your child's classroom door at 11.45 to collect them.

Lunch will end at 12.45. (We will ring the hand bell so that you know it is time for the children to return to class)  Please make sure you return your child to their class teacher/classroom at this time.

KS2 Sports Day will also involve a mixture of track and field events (1pm-3pm)

Please stay behind the red and white spectator tape.  The KS2 toilets are available for parents and visitors use during the day.  If any of our visitors require disabled facilities, please talk to a member of staff who will be able to escort you.

Also, if you need to leave and the gate is locked - talk to a member of staff and we can arrange for someone to open it.

  • Pyjamas and Mad Hair Charity Event

    Sat 08 Jun 2019
Brogan (y2) and Bailey (Y6) Wilding's Aunty Megan has recently been diagnosed with bowel cancer.  She is 25. Unfortunately, chemotherapy and radiotherapy hasn’t been successful. She has been really poorly with side effects.  There is a new treatment (Avastin) that she needs to help save her life but is no longer available on the NHS and costs £2000 every month. Brogan and Bailey love their Aunty Megan very much and they are organising this fundraiser so that they can help her get better to enable them all to get out and do the fun things they used to do together before she became poorly.
On Wednesday 19th June we are holding a Mad Hair and pyjama day at Cookley School to help support the family's fundraising - if you would like to support please come to school dressed in your pyjamas (no snoozing at school though!) and make your hair as wild as you can.  Please bring a £2 donation.  All proceeds to Aunty Meg's fundraising team.
Love From Bailey and Brogan Wilding

    Tue 04 Jun 2019
Please could we remind parents dropping off and picking up to avoid both the zig zags and parking in front of our neighbours drives. If you have to use your car, please use the sports club car park and walk down. Thank you.
