  • Design your own Easter egg competition

    Thu 02 Apr 2020
Tomorrow would have been our Easter bonnet parade.  It is very sad that this cannot go ahead this year so we would like to do something new!  We would like to ask all of the children to decorate an egg – any theme – it’s up to you.  We will choose 4 winners (N/R) (1/2)(3/4) (5/6).  Please upload your entries to the class blog or the school Facebook page.  We look forward to seeing your entries.   Entries close Saturday 11th April.  Winners announced Monday 13th - Good luck.
  • Class blogs

    Sat 28 Mar 2020
Thank you to everyone that has used the class blogs to talk about what they have been up to over the past few days.  It really is wonderful to read all about what you've been up to.  It is also a really good way to get in touch with your teacher too.  Keep posting.
  • Log in isues

    Thu 26 Mar 2020
The children should have been issued their logins for the online learning last week.  However, some pupils were not in school or some online learning content was arranged at the last minute.  If you do not know the log in required please message us via the Gateway and we will send it to you.

    A few updates...

Online learning - The internet has been a little slow today.  All of our online providers are working really hard to increase their capacity so hopefully any connection issues will ease over the coming weeks.  The home learning pages should help those of you that are able to support your children at home with their learning.  There will also be activities that they will be able to do without any adult support posted by the class teachers.  We will not be providing sheets and workbooks to use at home (unless we have identified that your child will find it difficult to access the work set via the home learning page) as this would not be sustainable in the long term.

Contact us -  If you are having any issues then please do not hesitate to contact us and we will do our best to assist where we can.  You can use the Facebook message page or the Gateway to contact us.  The office and Mrs Crisp will respond to messages as they come in.

Critical worker childcare - If your work is CRITICAL and if you cannot keep your child/children at home, we will provide childcare for them, when you are at work.  We are already over subscribed for places from families that have two key workers.  Luckily, shift patterns and rotas mean that currently everyone that has requested a place can be accommodated.  The best way for us to help prevent the spread of this infection is for children to be at home when it is safe to do so. Currently our staff availability means that we can remain operational - this is changing daily.  If school is forced to close because of staff shortages we may have to share provision with other schools and work as hubs.  We are trying our best to keep the children apart when they are here.  Please only consider using this care as a last resort.

PE kits - We are currently in the process of removing the children's belongings from their lockers and trays and we will do our best to get this to you by the end of the week.
